Lower Level 6
Most upscale basement finishes attempt to achieve a near-seamless transition from the upstairs to the lower level. How do you approach a design in which the client wants something worthy of his investment and yet is dissatisfied with an existing environment that already mimics the main floor? That’s what we were faced with in this project. Our client’s basement office is used to receive employees and business partners, and he felt that the existing finish didn’t represent the quality image he wanted to convey. He wasn’t sure, however, what he was looking for. Our client has a family with three nearly-grown girls. We sensed that he might be tiring of the existing crisp white enamel trim and floral accents, and suggested instead masculine forms and deeper colors.Browse through project photos by clicking on the displayed image to advance to the next, or start a slideshow of all related images.
