March 29, 2009 -- Lenexa KS -- Kevin Transue, CR, CGP, was interviewed by Sloane Heller of NBC Action News, answering questions about how the government's Stimulus Bill can be used to benefit remodeling projects, and how to bring "Green" remodeling into perspective for the typical viewer. Kevin pointed out that the Stimulus Bill will provide for rebates of 30% of the cost of qualifying products installed and put into use between now and the end of 2010. There are qualifying and limiting factors, so Kevin suggests calling a knowledgable remodeler to find out more. Kevin, one of the few Certified Green Professionals in the Kansas City metropolitan area, also pointed to some smart ways to save green by using green products for your home, and said to keep a watchful eye for the onset of LED lighting as it goes mainstream.
